The Media discipline extends the advancement of knowledge to the broader community in the form of public seminars, forums and conferences, and also runs an occasional public seminar devoted to topical media issues.
The discipline stages symposiums and conferences at public venues such as the Museum of Contemporary Art. With these public events, the discipline regularly links its media research with that of other scholars and practitioners, and with the wider community.
